Associate of Arts in General Studies

Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in the Associate of Arts in General Studies, or AAGS!

Once you have completed at least 30 credit hours, contact the Office of Academic Advising to:

  1. Request that an official degree plan be made via phone (501.569.8688) or in person (Ross Hall (RH), Room 406) [campus map]. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your degree plan to be approved.
  2. Once your degree plan is approved, you will need to come into the office to sign your official degree plan and complete the AAGS Survey.
  3. Declare your major online (AAGS) through BOSS.
  4. Apply for graduation, by the published deadline, on the semester in which you intend to complete the program requirements.
