University of Arkansas at Little Rock

The African American Male Initiative Consortium Conference (AAMICC) will convene partners and supporters from across the State of Arkansas to address critical issues affecting African-American male students and review research findings and best practices. Once again, the consortium will invite nationally recognized leaders to address the conference. The conference will focus on standards, benchmarks and strategies that must be in place to have effective African American male student initiatives which increase the retention and graduation rates of this population of students in higher education.  The conference is to be held February 24-25, 2011 on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR).
