UALR’s 2008 spring semester begins Monday, Jan. 14, opening an exciting and stimulating season of learning and growing experiences. It’s not too late to register.
Regular Registration Ends for Spring 2008 at 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11. Late registration opens Monday and continues through 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18. Visit ualr.edu and log into BOSS.
Friday, Jan. 18, is the deadline for prospective students to register for UALR’s Open House 2008.
The event offers a full day of activities and fun to be held on Friday, Jan. 25.
For the first time this year, the day’s activities will be held at the Jack Stephens Center, at the Jack Stephens Center.
The festivities begin with registration at 9:30 a.m., followed by welcome and academic overview by UALR Provost David Belcher. Representatives of student support services will talk with prospective students and their parents about the different programs they offer and now they can benefit students will precede a complimentary lunch and Student Organization Fair.
More than 50 representatives from UALR’s colleges, departments, offices, and organizations will be on hand at the fair to greet prospective students and provide insights on the opportunities available.
The day will be capped off by campus tours with opportunities for prospective students and their parents to visit with professors and administrators, tour facilities, and get a look at the on-campus residence village.
