Non-Reappointment of Tenure-Track Faculty

UA Board of Trustees Policy 405.1

According to UA System Board Policy 405.1, non-tenured faculty members who are in tenure track positions and who are not offered a next successive appointment must be notified in writing in accordance with the following schedule and provided a copy of the board policy.

  • First year of service: no later than March 1st
  • Second year of service: no later than December 15th
  • After two or more consecutive years: at least 12 months notice
