THE ASC MISSION

The faculty and staff of the Academic Success Center believe that the following statement encompasses what we do, collectively:

The Academic Success Center provides holistic programs and intrusive services to empower students toward academic achievement and degree attainment.

THE ASC PHILOSOPHY

The faculty and staff of the Academic Success Center believe that all of our efforts can best be described through three action words that drive how and why we do what we do for our students.

  • INTRUSIVE: The Academic Success Center provides intentional, one-on-one attention to our students.
  • HOLISTIC: The Academic Success Center provides academic, professional, social, and personal enrichment for total student development and success.
  • EMPOWERING: The Academic Success Center introduces and fosters essential skills for successful navigation of the UALR campus and connects students with resources to encourage graduation.
