Enrolling in the CSP
SERVICES OF THE COLLEGIATE SUCCESS PROGRAM
There are many benefits to being a CSP student. A major reason is the small class enrollment, with each learning community limited to 20 students. This small class enrollment will allow for more personal academic contact among your teacher, classmates and you.
- One-on-one academic advising and monitoring
- Personal attention and high-quality instruction from the faculty
- Small class enrollment with fellow ASC students
- Academic and study skills workshops and campus involvement activities
- Computer lab and student lounge access
- Tutoring and/or supplemental instruction for classes
- Community building activities
- Early class registration
CRITERIA FOR BEING A COLLEGIATE SUCCESS PROGRAM PARTICIPANT
- Enrolled to UALR as a new freshman or a new transfer freshman
- Need at least one developmental English, Reading, or Math course as determined by ACT, SAT or COMPASS test scores
- Not an athlete
- Not an international student
- Taking majority of classes on the UALR main campus
