Academic Scholarship Application

The following requirements must be fulfilled by February 1 in order for your file to be considered complete and for UALR to determine eligibility:
  1. Submit a typed or neatly printed Academic Scholarship Application to UALR Admissions and Financial Aid by February 1.
  2. Apply for admission to UALR (http://boss.ualr.edu) and be accepted as a degree-seeking student by February 1.
  3. You may not be in default on any student loans, owe a refund or have received overpayments on any federal, state, or institutional financial aid that has not be resolved.
  4. Applicants for the Breedlove Transfer Scholarship must provide a copy of their most recent academic transcript.
  5. Applicants for the Chancellor’s Leadership Corps must provide a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor/official by February 1.
  6. Freshman scholarship awards will be based on the highest official ACT/SAT score submitted to UALR by the February 1 deadline.
  7. Applicants must also submit at least a 6th semester high school transcript.
 For Spring Transfer Students:
For new transfer students entering Spring semester the deadline for consideration for the transfer scholarships is November 1 if funds are available

By submitting this application, you will automatically be considered for all UALR funded academic scholarships for which you are eligible. We strongly recommend that you also complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for need-based aid. You may complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
