Welcome! The Adult Student Advocacy (ASA) program is coordinated by a former adult student, Pattie Hornbeck, who serves as the Adult Student Advocate within the Office of Campus Life. The program is designed to provide information, assistance and encouragement to adult students — prospective, newly admitted, and current — in reaching their educational goals at UALR. The office is located on the second floor of the Donaghey Student Center, 216, down the corridor from University Food Court and directly above the bookstore. No appointment is necessary.The ASA staff has “been there, done that,” and is available to assist the prospective adult student with the admission and registration process, provide information and assistance to the newly admitted adult student, and provide an ongoing support system and encouragement for the current adult student. The ASA office will be there to assist you — from registration through graduation.
