Peer Tutoring

If your classes are beginning
to STRESS you out…

Consider hiring a peer tutor!

It’s common for a student to feel overwhelmed by a new learning environment. You have made a big commitment of both your time and finances to enhance your future. It makes sense to protect that investment and ensure your success at college by seeking academic support.

A peer tutor will:

  • review and clarify classroom instruction
  • provide a student perspective on learning and classroom success
  • personalize the learning process for you
  • increase your self-confidence and motivation
  • promote independence in learning

If you are interested in either being a peer tutor or in hiring a peer tutor, you can print out the forms below. See the Peer Tutoring Program coordinator in the Office of Campus Life to get hooked up with a peer tutor, or for more information, call 569-3308.
