The key student IT systems that are used at UALR are as follows:
1. Â BOSS – Your Student System
BOSS (boss.ualr.edu) is the general student information system from which you can make tuition payments, update your contact info, manage all of your passwords to your computer accounts, register for classes, and even “declare” your major at UALR.  To access your BOSS account, once click on the “Secure Login” area, just input your user ID (i.e. your T#) and PIN, which is sent via mail on your Admissions Letter.  If you forgot your password, click on “FORGOT PIN?” and follow the prompts to reset your password.  For other questions, call IT Student Support at 501.916.5073.
2. Â UALR Email
Within 24-hours of registration, your UALR email account (via Google Email) is created. Â This account can be accessed at my.ualr.edu and serves as your official means of communication with UALR. Â Find your username (aka: web ID) in BOSS under Personal Information and also reset your password there. Â It should look something like aaa2 (e.g. the initial of your first, middle, and last name followed by a number).
3. Â Blackboard (for your online classes)
Blackboard is the system that is used to access all of the online classes you take at UALR.  Once you are logged in to my.ualr.edu, you can click on the Blackboard icon to access your respective class.  For other questions, see the Blackboard Orientation Guide or contact the UALR Office of Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR) or call 569-8954.
