Project Earth

About Project Earth.  Project Earth was created to provide UALR’s first year students with the first-hand opportunity to create, grow, and lead their own service-learning project.  This spring, the first year initiative is focused on engaging UALR students, faculty, and staff to engage in and become more aware of sustainability.  The Project was launched in February and included the creation of the group, creation of program materials, development of the program and rollout, and implementation and engagement of student member and other collaborators of the UALR Community.  Project Earth culminated with Earth Day on April 19, 2012.  All projects occur under the management of Academic Advising and the Sustainability Committee.  Earth Day is program of the UALR Sustainability Committee.
