The UALR Alumni Association and the Donaghey Scholars Alumni Society continue a tradition of inviting scholars outside of the university whose scholarship may appeal to and draw new people to the university. The Donaghey Scholars Program is the honors program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  The program has an intensive interdisciplinary curriculum that replaces the core curriculum of the university.  The program includes a significant emphasis on cultural immersion through study abroad.
