UALR is pleased to announce that Regina Wade-Carter will assume the position of interim Director of UALR Public Safety Saturday, Sept. 1.
Currently serving as Assistant Registrar, Regina has worked at UALR for 17 years, including eight years in Public Safety, the last two of those years as a Public Safety officer.
Regina, who was highly recommended by other Public Safety employees for the position, has an undergraduate degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from UALR.
Her appointment comes after the resignation of Chief Brad King who has accepted another position. Brad will remain at UALR as a part-time faculty member in criminal justice.
A search for the new director will begin this fall.
