UALR Alumni creates Nightingale Society, coincides with Nursing

The UALR Department of Nursing celebrated nearly 50 years of excellence in nursing education during the recent grand opening of a new facility. The department moved into a $7 million dollar facility housing faculty and staff offices, classrooms, a computer lab and SimCare, a state of-the-art simulation hospital.

In the spirit of celebrating the move, the UALR Alumni Association also recently accepted the application of the Nightingale Society into the association. Created specifically for nursing alumni, the goal is to keep nursing graduates connected to UALR through annual events and updates. All members of the Nightingale Society can enjoy full benefits of alumni membership.
