I’d mentioned some weeks ago that the name of Colette Honorable, chair of the Arkansas Public Service Commission, had been floated as a potential appointee to head the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Her name is floating again as a top contender now that a previous choice by the president, Ron Binz, has been rejected by Congress as being too “anti-coal.”
Here’s the National Journal report. It says she’s the pragmatic sort that might fit the bill.
