1. Support
Membership and volunteer opportunities make a difference! Your dues are more than $20 a year. Your annual dues go on to help with alumni scholarships and alumni programming, which in turn helps to build a stronger representation that UALR’s alumni support their alma mater.
2. Keeps you Connected
Events and programs are developed every month for alumni to get together and reconnect with former classmates and professors, whether on campus, in town or across the globe. 10 Active societies are created so that all alumni can become involved in local UALR AA activities. Being a member is a great personal and professional networking resource. Plus it looks great on your resume!
3. Volunteer
The UALR AA is the top priority place to volunteer. With many ways to become involved through various volunteer opportunities, the AA looks for alumni who are willing to show their support through event participation, leaderships, act as a campus liaison and much more!

Time flies and Alumni Membership is your way to stay connected! AA membership dues support pre-game events, local and national society events, lifelong learning programs with lectures and educational resources and many other opportunities for alumni to stay connected to their former classmates, the UALR campus, and UALR’s world-class faculties.
5. Scholarships
The Association’s Scholars endowment helps the association reach out to the brightest and best UALR students. In addition, since 1992 the AA has awarded 113 students from UALR scholarships through the support of our loyal alumni. Save the Date for our annual ‘Taste of..’ event held each spring.
6. Representation
Arkansas’s largest community is its alumni base of more than 60,000. UALR Alumni Association members serve as the voice of the alumni and represent UALR in their chosen fields of interest.
7. Trojan Pride
UALR was recently named by Arkansas Times ‘Best University’. Growth and recognition of the university’s successes will help to ensure the true value and impact of your UALR degree.
8. Alumni Achievement
By showcasing each year the accomplishments of our alumni, the significance of an UALR degree is increased. Every year the Alumni Association recognizes a Distinguished Alumni and a Presidents Award recipient who have achieved success and continued their support of UALR.

The UALR Alumni Association and members are dedicated to serving the interests of its membership by encouraging participation in the life of the University, promoting positive awareness and providing assistance to the University in reaching its goals.
