Great Grads: Brad Cazort ‘85

news-cazortBrad Cazort left UALR in 1985 with a degree in political science and earned a UALR law degree in 1988, but he′s never left his alma mater.

Over the past 20 years he has built a law practice, managed a staff of more than 30 at the Arkansas Crime Information Center, and served his community on the City Board, while continuing his ties to UALR by providing leadership and service on the UALR Alumni Board of Directors and helping to pass on to another generation UALR′s tradition of service.

Cazort was instrumental in finding a place for the UALR Student Government Association to hold its annual community service project, the Big Event, in 2006. As a city board member, Cazort helped pave the way for students and alumni to spend a spring morning at the Little Rock Zoo painting, planting, and performing general clean-up duties.

“Being on the Alumni Board of Directors gives me the opportunity to give back to the school and tell the story about what a good education UALR provides,” Cazort said.
By his public service on the city board representing Ward 4, and serving on the Little Rock Zoo board of governors and the First Tee board of directors, Cazort also represents to the community how much UALR and its graduates add to the quality of life in Central Arkansas.

Cazort’s investment in his UALR education is also paying dividends for Little Rock and the state of Arkansas.
