Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament
Date: Monday, June 18
Location:Pleasant Valley Country Club
Details: Four person scramble-8 a.m. start and 1:30 p.m. start

This year the College of Business launched a capital campaign with proceeds directed toward an endowment for the college. In addition, the George W. Donaghey Foundation provided a $500,000 challenge gift. This is an opportunity to generate funds to better serve our students by supporting programs such as:

• Student abroad courses to Germany and Costa Rica
• Student competitions such as the Microsoft Imagine Cup and the Donald W. Reynolds Governors Cup Business Plan
• Professional development workshops

All net funds from the golf tournament will be designated for the Donaghey Challenge Match.

The UALR Alumni Association will host a resume writing workshop taught by Bruce W. Jordan, VP/Director of The Herring Group in Little Rock.

The primary goal for this one hour session will be to get our alumni started with a basic resume, give some helpful suggestions and answer any questions you may have regarding your resume.

smART Art Show Cocktail Hour & Preview Sale

More Information: Donaghey Scholars Program alums, mark your calendars for the smART art show and sale to benefit gifted students. Here, you can purchase original artworks by UALR artists for $20 or less! All proceeds benefit scholarships to UALR’s Summer Laureate University for Youth (SLUFY). The Alumni Cocktail Hour will be held from 5:30-6:30 followed by a special Alumni Preview Sale from 6:30-7pm. The opening reception will be from 7-8pm in the Upper Concourse of Donaghey Student Center. Show and sale continues April 11-12, 10am-2pm.
