Danny Glover is an award-winning actor, producer, and director
who has impacted stage, screen, and television for more than
a decade. Off-screen, he is a powerful advocate for literacy,
is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from Amnesty
International, was appointed the first Goodwill Ambassador
to the United Nations Development Programme, and received
the first Kunstler Racial Justice Award for his work on a
variety of social issues. His lecture is sponsored by the
Office of Campus Life.
