Though he may be best known for his role as the boring teacher in the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Ben Stein is an attorney, economist, syndicated columnist, former speechwriter for Presidents Nixon and Ford, screenwriter, and author. He has written and published 16 books and has been a university adjunct at American University, the University of California at Santa Cruz, and Pepperdine University.
