The Fund for UALR
UALR’s annual fund, The Fund for UALR, meets various needs on campus that tuition and state funding will not cover, such as purchasing textbooks for students in the Academic Success Center who would otherwise borrow or go without books for their classes. The Fund has also provided students with the opportunity to participate in foreign-study programs by absorbing the cost of the program.
We need your help to continue this effort. Your contribution to The Fund for UALR is your opportunity to give back to the University and help UALR to continue graduating more students who can then make a difference in your community and our state.
“When one gives, it allows the opportunity for students to take the benefit of that gift and give it back to their communities through education and service. This cycle of giving builds a better future for everyone, and giving to UALR plays an important role in continuing this cycle.”
– Teressa Carter, Senior, Social Work Major
“Because UALR is moving aggressively to become the dominate educational institution in Central Arkansas and in all of Arkansas in some areas of study, the utility of private funding is maximized.”
– Dr. Mary Good, Former Dean of the Donaghey College of Engineering and Information Technology
“Thank you for your interest in The Fund for UALR. Alumni and friends have an important role to play in this historic time for UALR as we make our move to become an even greater university for our students and the community we serve.”
— Dr. Joel Anderson, UALR Chancellor
