Dr. Sarah Beth Estes received her Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Iowa and was on the faculty at the University of Cincinnati for six years before coming to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Dr. Estes is the coordinator of the Gender Studies program at UALR and teaches Social Statistics, Research Methods, and Introduction to Sociology in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Her research interests include gender, work, and family.
