Welcome to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center Annual College Board-Endorsed Advanced Placement Summer Institute
Dear Advanced Placement Teacher,
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center, welcomes you to our 14th annual Summer Institute. We welcome our new and returning teachers and are delighted we will be able to work with you. We work hard to make this week fun and enlightening for everyone.
The English and Social Studies Institutes will be held at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. The Mathematics, Science, Spanish, Music, and Art Institutes will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A delicious full breakfast is served each morning to start your day right.
Registration for the institute will take place on Sunday, June 22 and July 20 from 3:00 - 5:30 pm and Monday, June 23 and July 21 from 7:00 - 8:30 am. (Check the appropriate web site for the registration form and additional information and directions.) Ann Robinson, Director for the Arkansas Advanced Placement Professional Development Center, and the site personnel will be there to greet and aid you. Our staff will be there to get you registered as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will have the opportunity to meet Center Aministrative Assistant, Paulette Edison, and put a face to her helpful voice and email communications.
You will have a busy schedule each day with nationally recognized consultants. Our faculty is wonderful and will provide you with excellent materials and educational experiences. We also invite you to take advantage of the optional evening entertainment and activities. We want you to have enjoyable evenings and to meet new friends after your institute sessions.
