The printmaking concentration introduces students to traditional fine art printmaking processes including relief, intaglio and lithography. In-depth study is available each semester for students pursuing advanced work. The printmaking studio is equipped with Takach-Garfield presses and a facility for photographic transfer of imagery. Intaglio employs health, safety, and environmentally conscious processes. Lithography uses both stone and metal plate. Students learn to develop their own imagery and content and to become adept at edition printing.
