The THEA Foundation

THEA FOUNDATION MISSION

The mission of the THEA Foundation is to advocate the importance of art in the development of our youth through educational and promotional activities and to encourage individual participation in art through scholarship, partnership, and other programs.

Who can compete

To qualify you must be an Arkansas high school, GED, or home school, junior or senior. Senior winners must be planning to attend school the next fall as a full-time student. There are no major requirements for winners of THEA visual and performing arts scholarships. The only requirement is the student enroll full-time in an accredited educational institution. Upon receipt of a letter from the institution stating full-time registration of the THEA top ten winner, the THEA Foundation will send a check to that institution in the student�s name.

If the THEA winner attends one of the THEA’s Educational Partner schools they will be eligible for the additional scholarship monies offered in THEA’s name by those schools and must meet the scholarship requirements put forth by each school to receive their scholarship dollars.
