Applications will not be accepted after Friday, July 3, 2009
· This is a week long intensive training academy. All academy attendees are expected to stay on site at the accommodations provided for you. If you are unable to attend or do not complete the academy, AVAA staff will immediately notify your supervisor and the student will be responsible for repaying the scholarship in full. Refunds for academy attendance will be decided on a case by case basis.
· Please attach a brief statement of why you want to attend the academy. Please provide any additional information you feel the selection committee should know.
· All students must be affiliated with a victim service provider agency or organization. The supervisor from the sponsoring agency must sign the application.
