Get organized: Look at your class schedules to find assignments, tests and projects coming up and make a plan to complete everything on time. Set goals. Creating a to-do list daily is a great way to make sure everything is completed in a timely manner.
Review: Review all notes taken the week or two before Fall Break. This will help refresh your memory and get you back on track.
Meet with other students: Meet with a group of students from each of your classes and make sure you’re completely up to date in each class. This will help make sure that you are aware of every upcoming assignment or test.
Focus on what’s important: The last thing you want to do right now is anything school related. All you want to do is catch up with friends and talk about how wonderful your break was. But, try to get back on track and focus on what is important right now. Get all your work done first, and then you can hang out with your friends.
Don’t procrastinate: Don’t wait until the last minute to start writing papers and studying for tests. Procrastination only leads to stress; lack of sleep and many times hurts your grades. Making a plan and sticking to it is the best way to avoid procrastination.
