Welcome to the School of Social Work 's Bachelor Program!
Although you are here to complete your education and become a social worker, you soon will realize that becoming a professional social worker is more than just getting a degree. It is a way of life and, 
hopefully, will become an added dimension to your identity as a person.
The faculty and staff want to support your BSW education by creating an environment in which you can adopt high ideals, enhance learning, gain insight, experience personal growth, and become acquainted with social work professionals. We want to make your short stay with us as pleasant as possible while you work to meet the high academic standards that have been set before you. Therefore, you can pave the way by taking personal responsibility for your own learning with the belief that an interactive process will be the most beneficial to a successful career, and letting your teachers, fellow students, and co-workers know how you best can be assisted in accomplishing your goals.
