I arrived at the studio ready to create a new model for my stone piece. I accomplished nothing but thinking and debating with numerous artists about what I should do with the pyramidal piece in the composition.
After lunch I sat down and did additional clay studies of the two stone elements. I debated the pyramid form with numerous artists and my assistant Pong. An hour after I finished the model. Zahra from Northern Cyprus wanted to have some clay and saw what I was doing with the model. She gave me an idea to place a smaller and more horizontal stone under the vertical stone for aesthetic and physical balance. The pieces finally created a composition that I had wanted. We went looking for the right stone and found two that might work. I want to sleep on it and see how I feel in the morning.
