Entry 23

In the morning I set up a table, two chairs and an umbrella and made clay models of the granite pieces.  My goal was to see all the components at a larger scale and play with how I will have the third stone cut.  Finally, I resolved the third stone piece but I’m still playing with the arrangement.
I marked the third stone to have the bottom cut level.

The rest of the afternoon was spent seeing the staff doctor about my chest cold, making two long paddles and a long edging tool for Ryan.  No tea and plenty of rest for Saturday.
