Community Orchestra to hold fall concert December 14

UALR’s Community Orchestra will present its fall concert Tuesday, December 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall of the Fine Arts Building.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The program includes six dances from Peter Illich Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” Richard Meyer’s “Celebration!” and Arcangelo Corelli’s “Christmas Concerto” OP. 6 No. 8 as arranged by Clark McAlister.

Conducted and founded by Dr. Victor Ellsworth, the Community Orchestra selects its literature from the classics to pop and jazz.  The orchestra is made up of musicians of all ages, careers, and experience from the Little Rock community and UALR.
