The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences (CAHSS) provides a comprehensive program of student advisement to help students transfer, register, and meet graduation requirements. Although most students, after declaring a major in the college, will be advised by their major departments, all students with questions regarding their academic program and progress toward their degree may contact Keesha Johnson, Assistant Dean of Student Services, at (501) 569-3350, or via e-mail at krjohnson@ualr.edu. The CAHSS Student Services office is located in Fine Arts, room 210, and is open from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Students interested in applying to UALR who intend to major or minor in a field in this college are also welcome to consult Ms. Johnson at CAHSS Student Services. If you need help finding out about transfer course credit, declaring a major or minor, graduation requirements and policies, or assistance with registration, please contact us. Non-degree seeking students who need help selecting courses for personal enrichment are also invited to meet with Ms. Johnson.
