Registration opens on January 22 for the expanded Student Research and Creative Works Showcase. This year’s showcase will be held in the Jack Stephens Center on April 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All currently registered UA Little Rock graduate and undergraduate students are eligible to present their research or creative work as posters, exhibits, installations, performances, or oral presentations. This year, we have also included a new category in Service Work and Professional Application. Projects in this category may include (but are not limited to) work completed in an internship, as a volunteer, in a service learning class, or as demonstrations of professional practices.
You may register your project for inclusion in the 2018 showcase here.
Early registration is encouraged, and abstract and poster workshops will be hosted in Februrary by the Student Research and Creative Works Committee. If you are planing on an alternative presentation format, SRCWC members will work with you to plan for the showcase.
Priority registration is March 9. If you submit your abstract by this date, it will be included in the showcase program. And, if you are able to submit a finalized poster to the SRCWC by this date, the printing costs will be covered by the Vice Provost for Research. The final deadline for registration is March 30. The award ceremony will be held on May 1 with increased awards.
Your research and creative work is important. Please consider sharing it with the UA Little Rock community, and help us foster a culture of research and innovation at UA Little Rock.
