Extended Programs supports credit courses and programs through distance delivery as well as at off-campus locations. Off-campus and online credit courses are identified by location in the UALR Registration Guide and Class Schedule on BOSS.
Online and Off-Campus Programs
Extended Programs supports a broad array of courses and degree programs via the Internet. Online courses use a variety of tools such as streaming video, audio and video conferencing, and our learning management platform (Blackboard).
Students in online courses must have access to a computer with a current web browser and Internet access. Please note that some online instructors may require on-campus exams or proctored testing.
There is no distinction made on student transcripts between online courses and traditional courses. Please visit our website for a complete listing of online programs.
Some UALR courses are offered at off-campus locations within Central Arkansas. One such location is UALR Benton (see below). Another is the Arkansas Studies Institute located in downtown Little Rock.
