Chancellor Anderson welcomed more than 60 business leaders from Central and Northwest Arkansas from Fifty for the Future and the Northwest Arkansas Council at a summit held August 23 at UALR. The goal of the summit and partnership between the two groups is to foster economic development in Arkansas by building partnerships between the two largest regions of the state. In his opening remarks, Chancellor Anderson emphasized the important role that UALR has in the community and the benefits of partnerships between universities and communities.
