300 Employees Recognized at GRAD Awards Reception

More than 300 faculty and staff members were recognized at the First Annual GRAD Awards on Wednesday, April 24 for their efforts to help students succeed.  The award and reception are a part of the Chancellor’s Student Success Initiative, a program designed to increase student retention and graduation rates through mentoring and student development.

The faculty and staff members were chosen for the award based on the results of three years of student graduation surveys. Students were asked to identify persons who went above and beyond to help them throughout their educational experience and to reach their ultimate goal of graduation.
