In his fall 2013 University Assembly address, Chancellor Joel E. Anderson encouraged faculty and staff to work together to help students succeed. Dr. Anderson noted how successful the Charles W. Donaldson Summer Bridge Academy was, citing the collaboration between faculty and staff in various units on campus as one of the primary reasons it was successful.
A decline in enrollment and funding will force the institution to find new ways to achieve its goals, but will in no way sacrifice the quality of the educational experience of its students.
Dr. Anderson concluded by praising faculty and staff for the caring way they help students succeed, adding several parents have contacted him regarding the pleasant way in which their child has been treated since enrolling.
