Kickball Tournament

A huge part of our Reach 13,000 Food Drive is our Kickball Tournament. All the proceeds from this event will benefit the Arkansas Foodbank Network and Staff Senate Helping Hands Committee . This is a great way for not only our scholars but for all UALR students, staff, and faculty to get involved on campus, meet new people and have a great time! Join us for fun, laughter and helping a great cause by making a team today!

General Information:

  • Reach 13,000 Kickball Tournament will be held Sunday, August 17 from 5:00-11:00 p.mĀ at the
    Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex.
  • Dinner will be provided from 5:00-7:00
  • We will start collecting non-perishable food items or money at 3:30
  • Opening Ceremony will be at 5:00 and the first game will start at 5:30
  • The cost to register a team isĀ $60 or 60 non-perishable food items. (No checks will be accepted)
  • Amounts are due prior to your first game
  • If there is a change to the Roster please notify the CLC office at (501) 569-8240


  • Your team must be registered by Friday, August 15th at midnight
  • Teams must have at least one player on the roster associated with UALR
  • If the Team Captain plans to play they need to be on the Roster
  • Only players that are on the roster will be allowed to play on the field
  • The Team Captain will need to provide a kicking line up at the start of each game
    -Failure to follow this order will result in an automatic penalty
  • Teams consist of 8-10 players
  • Games last for 30 minutes
  • 3 Strikes out rule
  • Cannot block baseline or bases
  • Outs consist of:
    -Body hit; excluding the face, Tag out with ball, Base out, or Catch out
  • Your team must arrive 15 minutes prior to game time
    -Late teams automatically forfeit
  • All players must show Sportsmanship
    -No foul language or gestures
    -Failure to abide by this and your team will automatically receive a penalty-at referees discretion

  • If your Team Captain plans to play in the tournament they need to be listed on the team roster as well.
  • Each team needs to bring one type of item (Ex: 60 cans of corn). Your team can pick any Non-perishable food item, as long as all 60 items are the same.
