What is a Co-op?
A Co-op is a paid job, relevant to your major, that you get academic credit for.
- Work experience related to your major field of study
- Academic course credit (up to 6 hours in some majors)
- A job with competitive pay and a flexible work schedule
During a Co-op:
In collaboration with your job you will complete 6 simple assignments:
- Learning Agreement
- Student Pre-Assessment
- Student Co-op Questionnaire
- Student Post-Assessment
- Learning Outcomes
- Exit Interview
Some Co-ops may have minor additional work if determined by your department’s co-op coordinator.
