The college recognized the year’s outstanding undergraduate and graduate students selected by the faculty at a May 6 ceremony.
In the accounting department, the Outstanding Undergraduate Student was Thomas J. Thompson; the
Outstanding Graduate Student in the master of accountancy program was Laurence Esch; and the Outstanding Graduate Student in the master of science in taxation program was Michele Mann.
The Department of Economics and Finance recognized finance student Felipe Velazquez and economics student Brian Barnett.
Two international business students stood out among their peers: Daniela Vial and Rebecca Van Den Houte.
Liz Harris was the Outstanding MBA Student.
In the Department of Management, Rebecca Van den Houte was the undergraduate Outstanding Student for General Management. Michael S. Head was the entrepreneurship and small business management recipient. Human resource management was Cynthia R. Mayhan, and the online management program was Angie Sherie Murphy. Outstanding Graduate Management Information Systems Students chosen were Jama Summers and Tanya Lee Wilson.
Marketing and advertising faculty selected Brittany L. Rush for marketing and Charles F. Cox for advertising.
