On February 8th, HR.com released its LEAD 2017 award winners with the UALR College of Business’ Human Resources Management program taking 5th place in the national echelon for “Degree Program with Emphasis on HR”.
HR.com, the largest global social networking and resource site for HR Professionals with over 290,000 members, holds the LEAD Awards every year to provide a deeper understanding of the HR function. LEAD 2017, a two day leadership forum, was held this month at the Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The ceremony is designed to inspire leadership in people from all walks of life, both in person at the conference as well as through a live simulcast to hundreds of remote host sites internationally. The event brings together top thought leaders and the world’s best leadership practices; the attendees then develop leadership programs in their own organizations and communities.
For the past 34 years, the LEAD Awards, formerly known as Leadership Excellence Awards, have identified and recognized the top leadership programs and organizations and their strategies and solutions in HR.com’s yearly ranking. This year’s award winners have been published in the February edition of the Leadership Excellence Essentials e-publication.
