The 2017 Carnival of Clubs set for August 29

Carnival of Clubs photo 1No Fall semester at UA Little Rock would be complete without the kick-off event: The Carnival of Clubs.  The Marketing and Advertising Department will once again be hosting the Carnival on Tuesday, August 29 from 9am – 1pm, located inside and outside of the College of Business (Reynolds Building). All students are invited to come and enjoy the food and festivities.

Carnival of Clubs photo 2The 2017 Carnival of Clubs will feature a classic line-up of attractions, from assorted midway games to the ever-popular “Dunk-the-Funk” challenge, where all-comers are invited to drop Accounting and Economics Chair Dr. Mark Funk in a dunking booth. Brand new attractions will also be featured this year, including a photo booth, a Western belt buckle contest (with cash prizes!), and faculty line-dancing. The food trucks will be back, congregating at the entrance to the Reynolds Building.  Featured food trucks this year include Blackhound BBQ and Kona Ice.

The annual Carnival of Clubs remains one of the best opportunities on campus to meet student organizations and learn what they have to offer.  Opportunities to sign up for exotic study abroad trips can also be found at the Carnival, including details on the annual trip to Costa Rica.  Student organizations may sign up to have a table at the event here.
