Alumni Profile: Drew Holbert

Drew Holbert’s name can be seen on real estate signs across the city and beyond.

Holbert of Little Rock, who received an MBA from UALR in 2009, is a commercial real estate broker with Colliers International, serving such clients as USA Drug, Walmart, Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield, USAble Life, Regions Bank, Bank of the Ozarks, Arvest Bank, Travel Nurse across America, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

“My MBA has and will continue to enable me to better provide our clients with the level of professional service they have come to expect from our firm, quite simply because it has greatly increased and sharpened my personal skill set,” said Holbert. Drew Holbert

He chose UALR for several reasons, one of which was because his boss received his MBA from UALR and highly recommended the program to him. “Second, the flexible evening classes worked well with my work schedule, and the location was convenient,” he said.

His family ties influenced his decision of where to go for an MBA. “My mother received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from UALR and my cousin, Happy Mahfouz, is a former head basketball coach and athletic director at the university.”

He received a bachelor of business administration degree in in professional sales from Harding University in 2006.

Holbert is a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXV; a founding member of the Greater Little Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Create Little Rock, serving on the Retention Committee; a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club of Little Rock, supporting the Joseph Pfeifer Kiwanis Camp; and is a member of Fellowship Bible Church, mentoring first graders.
