The mission of the UALR Accounting Society is to promote the study and practice of the various professional specialty fields in accounting, provide opportunities for leadership development and professional growth, and encourage a sense of ethical and social responsibilities.

Association of Information Technology Professionals

Association for Information Technology Professionals

The AITP Student Program, started in 1968, is designed for students planning careers in information systems correlated fields. Complete professional development requires knowledge that goes beyond the classroom, especially in a profession where textbooks may be obsolete before they are printed. Intended to complement classroom studies, AITP Student Chapters provide students with opportunities to participate in the information technology community and to explore various career opportunities. The program also gives regular AITP members an opportunity to provide insight and guidance. Students majoring in information technology have made a commitment to a career. Student Chapters represent AITP’s commitment to helping them become future leaders in information technology.

Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society

Beta Gamma Sigma International Honor Society

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Human Resources Society

Human Resources Society

The UALR HR Society is actively dedicated to advancing student understanding of human resource issues and networking with local human resource managers. The Society is affiliated with the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association (CAHRA) as well as with the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Phi Beta Lambda

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

The purpose of PBL at University of Arkansas at Little Rock is to provide opportunities for postsecondary students to develop competencies for business and business related skills. PBL is an integral part of the instructional program and in addition promotes a sense of civic and personal responsibility.

Our mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. Membership to Phi Beta Lambda is open to all students enrolled at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

Student Marketing Association (SMA)

The purpose of SMA is to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the practice of marketing.  The goal of this organization is to increase networking within the business community and promote the value of marketing in the global economy.
