Willis Kemp is the Vice President-Tax for Windstream Holdings, Inc., a Fortune 500 company and leading provider of advanced network communications including cloud computing and managed services to businesses nationwide based in Little Rock with annual revenues of over $6 billion.
He began his career in 1983 working for the Hunt Family in Dallas, Texas, where he was employed for 17 years, serving the final 10 years there as the senior tax executive. In June 2000, he joined Dean Foods Company, a multi-national Fortune 500 company with annual revenues of over $10 billion based in Dallas, Texas and the nation’s largest dairy food manufacturer, where he served as Vice President-Tax until moving to Little Rock to join Windstream in 2006.
In the spring of 2012, Willis became a member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas.
Willis is a member of Tax Executives Institute (TEI) and serves on the Federal Tax Committee and served in various leadership positions in the Dallas Chapter before moving to Little Rock. Willis also serves on the Tax Committee of the U.S. Telecom Association and is a member of the Committee on State Taxation.
Willis received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Texas Wesleyan College in Fort Worth, Texas in 1983 and is a CPA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
