Center for Applied Studies in Education (CASE)

The CASE mission is to improve the quality of education and human services in Arkansas and globally through a number of inter-related activities.

Center for Gifted Education

The Center provides programs and services to talented students and their families, teachers, and administrators. Established in 2001, it is only one of twenty-five such centers nationwide.

Center for Literacy

In 2006, the Center for Literacy in the College of Education was established.  The Center for Literacy is the National Center for the Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy (PCL) Model and  the Comprehensive Intervention Model (CIM) and is one of only 22 Reading Recovery Training Centers in the United States.

Partnership for 21st Century Skills

The Framework presents a holistic view of 21st century teaching and learning that combines a discrete focus on 21st century student outcomes (a blending of specific skills, content knowledge, expertise and literacies) with innovative support systems to help students master the multi-dimensional abilities required of them in the 21st century.
