University of Arkansas at Little Rock

The Online Orientation and Mobility (O&M) Program recently received a Five-Year, $500,000 personnel preparation grant from the U.S. Rehabilitation Services Administration to primarily fund student scholarships. The scholarships funded each year will enable eight graduate students to train to become O&M specialists for persons who are blind or visually impaired. UALR was one of only three institutions to receive a scholarship grant through RSA in this field this year.
