Counseling Adult and Rehabilitation Education (CARE)

The Department of Counseling, Adult and Rehabilitation Education (CARE) provides a quality education to a heterogeneous student body at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The goal is to prepare students with the special knowledge and skills for professional work in education and human service fields, and to enhance students’ abilities to be successful in their chosen fields of study.

Educational Leadership

There are 5 areas housed in Educational Leadership including Educational Administration (EDAS), Higher Education (HIED), Gifted and Talented Education (GATE), Learning Systems Technology (LSTE) and Educational Foundations (EDFN).

Teacher Education

In the Department of Teacher Education, we prepare individuals in Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Secondary Education, Special Education, Reading, Reading Recovery, and Reading Coaching.
