Building Directions
Here, we’ve included directions to some of the more common buildings that visitors go to on campus.
Welcome Center
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south for a little more than a mile. The Welcome Center is located in the parking lot of UALR University Plaza, on the left side of University Avenue at Asher Ave.
Donaghey Student Center
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south. At the intersection of University Avenue and 28th Street, turn left. Take a right on Campus Drive, just past the Bailey Alumni Center. The Donaghey Student Center is on the right past the Fine Arts Building and is the last building on Campus Drive before the street is closed to through-traffic.
Jack Stephens Center
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south. At the intersection of University Avenue and 28th Street, turn left. The Jack Stephens Center will be on the left.
Stella Boyle Smith Auditorium
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south. At the intersection of University Avenue and 28th Street, turn left. Take a right on Campus Drive, just past the Bailey Alumni Center. Stella Boyle Smith Auditorium is on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building, which is the first building to the right on Campus Drive.
University Theatre
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south until reaching the intersection of University Avenue and University Drive. Turn left on University Drive and follow the directional signs toward University Services. The University Theatre is located in the Center for the Performing Arts, which is on the left past the pedestrian drop-off point on University Drive.
Office of Communications
From I-630 East or West, take the University Avenue exit and proceed south until reaching the intersection of University Avenue and University Drive. Turn left on University Drive and follow the directional signs toward University Services. The Communications Building, across from the corner of Campus Drive West and University Drive, is a one-story building at the location of the former Department of Public Safety, across the street from the Office of Development and UALR Printing Services.
