Revised Logo and Abbreviated Name
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock changed its short-form name from UALR to UA Little Rock in recognition of its strong connection to central Arkansas. Chancellor Andrew Rogerson announced the change, along with a new logo, on Jan. 23.
He urged the UALR community to continue to use printed materials and UALR-branded items until supplies are exhausted, but new materials should include the UA Little Rock name and the revised logo.
In conjunction with the new logo rollout, several 30-minute “brand refresh” training sessions will be scheduled. We strongly encourage anyone who performs in any capacity the role of communications liaison within any department, college, center, or office participate in these sessions to learn more about proper and improper logo usage, along with key information on design and communications best practices for the university. To schedule your training, contact Keli C. Jacobi, director of strategic communications, at 501.569.3261 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
